Do I need to enter my birth time for Kaalam to work?
For the free Panchang, no. For any reading personalized to your chart (Kaalam Daily, Muhurta, Career Reading), yes — an accurate birth time is essential for house-level accuracy. If your birth time is uncertain, Kaalam has a rectification workflow to narrow it down.
What if I'm not sure of my exact birth time?
You can still create an account and start with the parts of Kaalam that work at day-level precision (Nakshatra-based readings, Panchang, some Muhurta types). We'll add rectification tools in an upcoming release.
Is my birth data kept private?
Yes — see the Privacy policy for the full details. Short version: Kaalam does not sell, share, or rent your data, and you can delete or export it at any time.
Do you offer live consultations with an astrologer?
No. Kaalam is a computed product — the same chart returns the same reading, every time. No per-minute chat meters, no fear-based upsells.
What if I disagree with a reading?
Every claim in a reading is derived from a specific classical rule. If you think a reading is wrong, email hello@kaalam.app with your account address and the specific claim — we take feedback seriously.
Can I cancel my Kaalam Daily subscription any time?
Yes — cancel in-app, in your Apple ID / Google Play subscriptions, or by emailing billing@kaalam.app. Cancellation stops the next renewal; the current period continues to its end.
