Who we are

Kaalam is operated by Equiti Ventures LLC (“we” / “us”), a limited liability company registered in the United States. Contact: hello@kaalam.app.

What Kaalam provides

Kaalam provides computed astrological content — daily Panchang, Muhurta timing analysis, and life-area readings — grounded in the classical Vedic tradition. Kaalam's output is provided as-is for personal use, information, and reflection. Kaalam is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or mental health advice.

Your account

• You must be 16 or older to create a Kaalam account.
• You are responsible for the security of your account credentials.
• The birth details you provide must be yours or belong to someone who has consented to a Kaalam reading. Do not enter someone else's birth details without their consent.
• One account per person.

Subscriptions & purchases

• Kaalam Daily is a recurring monthly subscription ($9.99 USD, regional pricing on Apple and Google). A 7-day free trial is available without a payment method. You can cancel any time; cancellation stops the next renewal.
• Muhurta cards and life-area readings are one-time purchases. Once delivered, they are yours to keep.
• Pricing may change with notice. Existing active subscriptions honor the price at time of subscription until the next renewal after any price change takes effect.
• Refunds for one-time readings: within 14 days of purchase, at our sole discretion. Contact hello@kaalam.app.

Content, IP, and your data

The Kaalam product, engine, brand, and content generated by Kaalam (including the text of your readings) are owned by Equiti Ventures LLC. Your birth chart data belongs to you — Kaalam has a license to compute readings from it while your account is active. You may export or delete your data at any time (see the Privacy policy).

Acceptable use

• Do not reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the engine.
• Do not resell Kaalam readings as if they were your own product.
• Do not scrape or spam the service.
• Do not use Kaalam readings as the basis for advising others professionally without an appropriate license or credential from the venue where you're advising.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

Kaalam's output is provided as-is, for personal use, without warranty of any kind. The Kaalam engine is computed from astronomical data and classical rule-sets; interpretation is derived by software. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Equiti Ventures LLC is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from your use of Kaalam. Your sole remedy in any dispute is a refund of the amounts you paid for Kaalam products in the 12 months preceding the dispute.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Disputes will be resolved in the state and federal courts located in Delaware.

Changes

Material changes to these terms are announced by email to registered users at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of Kaalam after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
